About Juliet
Hello I'm Juliet
I write honest, heartfelt and occasionally humorous books about the realities of life, loss, family, resilience and discovering who we really are. After spending much of my life wondering why I seemed to struggle with things that appeared effortless to everyone else, I began exploring the possibility that I might be one of the many Gen X women with undiagnosed ADHD.
That journey inspired me to write Oh Look a Squirrel!, a memoir about learning to live with ADHD later in life. My writing also explores grief, identity and personal growth, including Tunnel at the End of the Light: After My Mother's Suicide, a deeply personal reflection on loss and healing.
When I'm not writing, you'll usually find me drinking tea, eating crumpets (not really, I can't get crumpets here in Canada), getting distracted by new ideas, starting projects before I've finished the last ones, or spending time with my family. Through my books and blog, I hope to share stories that make readers laugh, think, feel understood, and perhaps realise they're not quite as alone as they thought.
Welcome to my corner of the internet. I'm glad you're here.
